The Guardians

Artist Statement

Magpies and cockatoos are regular visitors to the yard outside my studio. During the covid lockdown, they became my only visitors and spiritual guardians symbolising protection and resilience.

The organic centre motif signifies renewal, growth and the healing power of nature.
